Gentlemen, what we have here is the death of creativity and originality in cartoons and this is that show.I am a huge fan and sucker for cartoons. After last week's slight misstep, Game of Thrones rebounds with an excellent episode that produces quite a few "Oh damn" moments.Coming off the first lackluster episode of season three (dragon and bear notwithstanding), "Second Sons," episode eight of Game of Thrones season three, needed to be on point. And man oh man, was it e...more

The 2nd Mass is back and better than ever with a new sense of purpose and, finally, a place to call home.As unfair as it may be, and despite how much I enjoyed the show, I felt the first two seasons of Falling Skies were too similar to AMC's The Walking Dead, in many ways. Yes, I know, one is aliens and ...more

Fortunately, for fans of this show, myself included, the cable network resurrected the show,...more

Season 6 has been a very strong season, full of top notch episodes, EPISODE name being a perfect example. But I can't help feeling that the writers might be trying to wrap the characters and the show into a neat little package. From the very beginning we have been following the stories of four core characters. Four socially awkward nerds who begin to make real relationships with people outside the group and try to understand...more

The run of great episodes ends with "The Bear and the Maiden Fair." With the exception of dragons and a great ending, Game of Thrones produces its weakest episode of season three. It was bound to happen. Not every episode was going to be excellence beyond compare. Mind you, there were great moments in this episode, but everything in between ran the gamut between so-so and good....more

Although not as strong as the previous two episodes, Game Of Thrones keeps its momentum with another quality episode."Only the ladder is real. The absence of grandstanding does not hamper in anyway, as Game Of Thrones completes the first half of season three in glorious fashion. One would think that after such an incredible and grandiose episode like, "And Now His Watch Is Ended," a letdown would be in order. But this was not to be, as, "Kissed By Fire," is up to the task of ...more

Last week's episode was the best of the new season. Emphasis on "was..."I am thirty-one, soon to be thirty-two years old, and can remember watching television as far back as 1984, twenty-nine years ago. I know this because I remember being forced to sit through Days Of Ou...more

Laughs are had, tension is felt, and the plot thickens. All of this, plus a shocking moment to punctuate the best episode of the new season so far. This episode, "Walk of Punishment," can be used as the perfect example for why I, among many others, love Game Of Thrones. While there may be some that believe action by way of sword fights are needed...more
