What is the need for this party picture? After Directing 'The Hangover' and its sequel to both commercial and laugh out loud success, a lot of promise surrounded the next Todd Phillips produced picture, 'Project X' . With gross-out comedy mo...more

Die Hard is dead. Long live McClane. It can be an excruciatingly painful experience watching an elderly loved one lose his/herself to old age. It can be similar with other aspects of your life, as well, like seeing a childhood hero or be...more

There are too many "why's" and too many "how's". Once the movie gets you going, you'll nitpick everythingWhen the movie is over, you feel nothing for the characters. The only thing you feel is anger. You're angry with what you just watched. Why did you watch it? Why did they make it? Why am I still hung ...more

Everything that was great about the Die Hard franchise is ripped away leaving nothing, but the shell of its former self.A Good Day to Die Hard is a very disappointing film. I remember back in the day. Oh shoot now I'm showing my age and I'm sounding like my parents and grandparents. Anyway I remember back in the hay da...more

It is a story, actually almost a fantasy, that contains not one ounce of honesty in its characters or plot.I will give it to Nicholas Sparks. He sure as hell knows who his audience is when he writes his romantic novels. He has them eating out of the palm of his hand and the same can be said about Hollywood...more

As there is apparent file and disk drive saving going on behind the making of this is where is it evident? Isn't there? Obvious answer is a no! All we know is still here, all the great President declared is all here, just imaged, bleakly, and blandly.Zero Dark Thirty is a film where you can leave and have a preordained idea of it already clustered within your brain, your enthusiasm for Katherine's heightening the experience, that and a shed load o...more

Movie 43 is an utter terrible disgrace and lame excuse to call itself a "feature film" this film is so awful you should pay not to see it. All the acting talents are simply wasted on a film that should not have even made it to theaters in the first place. To call "Movie 43" a movie would actually be paying it a compliment. To call "Movie 43" a comedy makes "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" look like a best picture nominee. I can not fathom how terribl...more

Not even coffee will help me from forgetting that I watched this terrible film that forbid the company from ever adapting their musicals into animated movies. If you remember on my The Iron Giant Review, I mentioned that this animated movie, The King And I, became the downfall of Warner Bros. Animation Studios and boy does it show. The King And I is one of ...more

Classic Tale. New Twist. Unnecessary. Waste of time.No matter how low or high they may be, we all have expectations each time we go see a movie. We are satisfied if they are met and pleasantly surprised if they are exceeded. But when expectations are n...more

Why was this made in the first place? Complete waste of amazing acting talent.Upon reflection one thing that can instantly be said is this film should never have been commissioned, let along actually produced and released. A collection of short comedic segments - that for the m...more

A Timeless classic gets well..butchered. The idea for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters is somewhat mildly clever and does it best, its just boring, childish and well dumb. It was an idea that probably sounded good on paper, it should have stayed that way.Over the past few months we have seen our 16th president battle vampires & zombies and now we have Hansel and Gretel batting not vampires nor zombies but witches. Yeah i know. The idea for this film p...more

Do your thing, cuz.I feel terrible. It may have something to do with eating too many brownies, or the fact that I watched "Texas Chainsaw 3D"; a movie so bad, it just might groundbreaking. The Basics: "Texas...more

... We're just into January 2013 and both of the recent genre pictures have already failed on both levels of "good" and "mindlessly entertaining". At this rate, God help February...THE APPARITION, HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET, THE POSSESSION, THE WOMAN IN BLACK. . . Notice something all of these have in common? It's pretty simple; pretty obvious. Well, just keep reading just i...more

Maybe the army of the dead should have stayed "dead" after all. Before I review this anime, a little history. First Squad is a Russian / Japanese film collaboration with Molot Entertainment with anime studio Studio 4C and it was the ONLY anime that was...more

The Most Overrated Movie of 2012Where do I begin? The character development is a joke, the main villain is a complete wimp, and the story is paper thin. Even worse is how lazily Whedon used the scepter to fill in everything that nee...more ( Short Review: 68 words )
