Great story, now we all know there wasn't mail call at the assault on Iwo Jima. I was taken aback at how Flags was about thousands and Letters was about 3. Still, it was informing in a way that let me understand how it felt to be in an insurrmountable situation, but I expected a war due to my ignorance. A great story in it's own right, I guess I just wasn't prepared for a slower more intricate story.
