Not a great film. the action was pretty dull and the murders were'nt very interesting. i didnt feel anything throughout the entire film except for complete surprise at a scene near the end which involves a pair of scissors and someones neck. Mr Brooks started out pretty dismal but did pick up at the end with a decent twist.

Kevin Costner gave a dissapointing performance.I couldnt quite get into his character, he was unbelievable and a little too stiff in his acting to be a conceivable 'serial killer'.Dane cook was surprisingly good in this role. I never would've though it but he's actually pretty decent in a serious role. not as good as his comedic roles but still he was good to watch.
