While the most brilliant director on the planet besides Speilberg and Lucas, Peter Jackson had to have worked hard to create the book-based fantasy magic in the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Although I thought that the character of Frodo (Elijah Wood) was left a little weak, Ian MacKellan and Viggo mortenson certainly made up for it. The award-winning trilogy was well deserving of all of the critical attention. All in all...MAGNIFINCENT!
