SOUTHLAND TALES (2007)

Southland Tales was a really interesting sci-fi movie in the first half of the movie but near the 2nd and 3rd half I didn't really care for it anymore. It wasn't the length of the film that bothered me it was the fact that every little thing in the movie was just getting way to boring and predictable and over the top witch I do not mind a sci-fi movie being over the top but this one just stretched its limits. The cast was perfect even the Rock (who I think is on his way to becoming a good actor if he makes more serious movies)was good and made me laugh and JT who only has a few scenes in the movie was really good even as the narrator. The ending was the one part of the movie I just didn't care for it ended so fast I actually wanted to see more of what happened. Richard Kelly did a great job on setting up a really cool story that fits in with every thing that is going on in the world today and that is one of the films high points I just felt that more could of been done in the end.
