"I'm Already Dead!"
EXCELLENT... a word I RARELY use to describe a horror movie, much less a PG13 horror movie. "The Haunting In Connecticut" was just that, Excellent. A horror movie that's actually scary, imagine that.
I cant remember the last time I saw a movie that made me afraid to walk in my own house if the lights werent on. Well I was tonight after seeing this. I was shocked at how great this movie really is. It didnt need the R rated blood and gore to tell its story, just very well placed ghosts and ghouls.
This movie actually aims to be creepy as well as including some jumpy moments and it achieves such with flying colors, at least in my book. The scariest movie since "The Sixth Sense" hands down.
"Based on a chilling true story, Lionsgate's "The Haunting in Connecticut" charts one family's terrifying, real-life encounter with the dark forces of the supernatural. When the Campbell family moves to upstate Connecticut, they soon learn that their charming Victorian home has a disturbing history: not only was the house a transformed funeral parlor where inconceivable acts occurred, but the owner's clairvoyant son Jonah served as a demonic messenger, providing a gateway for spiritual entities to crossover."
"Now unspeakable terror awaits, when Jonah, the boy who communicated with the powerful dark forces of the supernatural, returns to unleash a new kind of horror on the innocent and unsuspecting family."
Scary, creepy, eerie, odd, and dare I say terrifying. The Haunting truly is...Haunting.
