"... that was it?"

So the acting was phenomenal. The action sequences were intense and engaging. The music served its purpose. That's it. The story was not all that incredible, it was actually slow and boring. As the movie went on it just turned out to be a game of cat and mouse. Overall, not worth the hype, a full trailer, an empty movie.

if you liked the acting, action sequences, and music for serving it's purpose, then this doesn't equivocate to a 1 star movie. and the visuals are 4 stars minimum for nailing '33 & '34. so if those were all well and good, then it doesn't make much sense of your ratings for story & directing.
