"Great when you realize the fact that this is the fifth movie."

This is a movie that I just want to completely hate but I will admit that it was ok. I will start off by saying that this film was better then 2 and 3 almost as good as saw 4 but of course not as good as saw, but i digres.

This film was pretty ok.

The story was a pretty descent story but at times increadibly stupid to the point where you like what the fuck is going on. You definately have to see all the other saw movies to understand this one. Now the acting in this is actually pretty good, the girls in it weren't amazing but it was still good. The traps in this even though their arrent that many were gory and kinda fun to see but i thought that the traps were a little to big in scale. The gore in this isnt as bad as some of the others but there still are some discusting parts. The twist in this didn't feel like a twist, it didn't feel like it wasn't coming at all but you know it was still out of the ordinary, but you wont be able to get the twist until you see the last 2 minutes. Ok it wasnt really a twist.

I thought that the new director David Hackl did a very nice job at trying to make it better which he accomplished. Some of the gore computer effects were really cheesey but whatever. My biggest complaint is that it is all just a flashback, nothing in the present really happens and the movie is quite boring.

But the end they didnt even try to solve anything, they just left it right open for Saw VI which is planned for next year. So overall I would say that to go see this if you are a fan or just want to see what happens. 3.5/5/
