"A lot better than expected!"

I honestly had no intention of see "LIONS FOR LAMBS". I had no interest in it and was talked into seeing it. To my utter surprise, it turned out to be a lot better than I had expected. I don't understand why the critics are lukewarm toward it. Oh well.
