"Possibly the Funniest Film in A VERY long time. Tenacious D In The Pick of Destiny"

Tenacious D are the comedy duo of the past few years. If you have ever heared thier album it is just a long funny story, which all leads to this film. Where to start. JB and KG's acting skills. Even though Kyle Gass has been in many films, and is possibly more experienced then Jack Black, Black seems to be more comfortable in this film. The very first scene is awesome! It gives a great intro into the film. With special cameos from Rock Legends Meatloaf and Ronnie James Dio, it makes the film seem even better. Speaking of cameos, Foo fighters Frontman, Dave Grohl can definately add good actor to his resume; beneath Frontman, Guitairst, Drummer and Raving Lunatic! Only Joking Dave! Tenacious D provide a brilliant soundtrack with amazing songs; some made for the film, others from thier past albums which really fit in with the story. Going back to the cameos, Dio and Meatloafs' singing really boosts the musical influence on "The D"! For people that bash this film as being just another 90 odd minutes of the F word would be wrong. Sometimes i feel that they use words when they could just keep it as it was, without them, and it would sound better. But it's what Rock n' Roll is all about. Just listen to Tenacious D's music anyway, it usually has swearing in it. But that's beside the point, it is a funny film. One of my favourite scences is where JB is dreaming them Playing "Master Exploder" and see if you can count how many times KG's guitair changes. In that scene thier faces are so funny. Check out JB's face when KG's got the womens legs guitair. Another is when JB explodes the audience members head, and KG's face is just awesome. This film is wicked. If you haven't seen it, i definately recoment it. It will go down as one of the top 15 films i've ever seen, and i've seen a lot of films. Being a rock fan myself i can relate to the film, but even if you're not, this is still a god damn funny film! The last scence really clinches it for me as a classic film. The whole rock off, and the deactivating lasers thingy, ( You'll know what i mean if you've seen it:) Just a great film all in all really, i'm gonna wrap it up know, but leave you with a very important message from the film;

If you don't give life everything you've got, and cherish each moment, Satans Gonna' make you his Sex Slave- Jack Stowell
