""FATHER,THE SLEEPER HAS AWAKENED!"

Now Dune was not the kind of movie I liked when I was a kid I actually hated this movie for the longest time but seeing it years later its grown on me. I can't really recommend Dune if you don't like movies with a lot of dialogue and barley any action because if anything Dune has a lot of dialogue and at times its a little to much because it makes the movie a little hard to follow and plus the movie is not for everyone. The movie isn't perfect the acting is a little weak in some parts of the movie and some of the scenes are even acted weird (but thats expected from David Lynch films)Now the one thing this movie does have going for it are the visuals witch for a movie made in the 80s are Fu#king amazing they are so cool I think its the reason I kept watching the movie more than once. This movie is not at all like Star Wars so if you think you are going to get an action packed Sci/Fi adventure you are not if anything you are going to get a sort of I guess LOTR meets 2001 a Space Odyssey but with more Psychedelic visuals and plot undertones. If anything I would not recommend the Three hour version of Dune because if you think the Theatrical Cut of Dune has way to much Dialogue the three hour version just makes it more unbearable and it drags on way more than it should of. I don't really know what it is exactly that I like about this movie but what I do know is that it is a very interesting movie and it is a Hit or Miss for some of its viewers but one thing is undeniable those f#cking visuals are amazing!
