"JACK'S BACK!!!"

Well, the day has, finally, come, when i get to see Jack kick some ass. To tell you the truth I'm not worried about losing my interest in this season at all. 24 is broken up into trilogies; this is the third trilogy of this series. Season 4 showed a lot of high octane action, although a little absurd, but fantastic none the less. So this season should be great, as well, but it's the eighth season i can't wait for, because the second parts of these trilogies, such as seasons 2 and 5, are groundbreaking. Unfortunately, I'm doubtful about season 9, like seasons 3 and 6, but let's not get too far with this, and stay focused on this season.

It looks like Kiefer didn't suffer any acting skills from the hiatus; no problems with getting back into the Jack Bauer grove. Carlos is just excellent and is very different from all the villains i've seen from this show. Tony, unlike previous villains, realizes what he is doing is wrong and contemplates with himself, seemingly. I can't wait to see how far he will go, to push Jack into making the ultimate decision of killing his best friend.

I was kind of worried about the absence of CTU you, but after watching, i didn't miss it at all. Actually, i was glad to see a change, also with the location. What a great idea.

In closing, I also enjoyed Jack's sidekick, although i believe she won't be at his side for much longer. Jack seems to speed pass coworkers everytime he finds a good lead. So i wonder if she'll be left in the dust and just communicates with him through phone conversations. Can't wait for tonight.
