"One of the greatest fantasys of all time!"

There are so many great things about Fellowship of the Ring. First, story. Jackson did a great job keeping it true to the book, nearly every chapter is in it, and there is plenty of more fighting than the book described. Acting was tremendous. Ian McKellen is one of my favorite actors, and Viggo makes a perfect Aragorn. Bloom plays great as Legolas, and Elijah Woods does a great job at being truley frightened as Frodo. The directing was awesome. He gets so many great camera angles and views of Middle-Earth. He also certainly knows how to keep the audience entertained when it comes to fighting. The visual could have been better though, I mean the guardian, Balrog, and cave troll look great, but some parts you can tell it is fake. Like the bird's eye view of Sauroman's orc pits. The movie though was certainly the best I saw in 2001, let's hope the sequels are just as good or better.
