"Ingenious. I think!"
I liked it. My computer knowledge is pretty bad compared to the hackers but it seemed plausible. It would be fuckin' crazy if it happened in real life. Story goes, a computer hacker sets up a web site, depicting some person being slowly and painfully tortured and murdered, and by monitoring the number of hits the sites gets, quickens the rate of their death. If nobody tunes in, nobody dies.
The story revolves around a female FBI Internet Crimes specialist trying to bring this internet killer to justice when it gets turned around on her a little too close to home. Intelligent and believable characters helped this film out a lot. A couple cliched moments but what are ya gonna do...
All in all, a good waste of time. Not as gory as I expected it to be but as a thriller, it kept me at the edge of my seat.
