The past life of tony stark seems all to close to reality that has destroyed Downy's career.........UNTIL THIS FILM. There arent many memorable roles but one where Downy portrays an alcoholic party animal is all too close to reality.

This is a movie with eye candy, catch phrases, a plot, a story, a hero and villian, and somewhat a love story.

If you've read the comics you may be quick to compare as many comic buffs do with films like Spiderman, Xmen and fantastic four.

This is no exception to that rule, but get over it, it's a movie, and to rehash the exact same things put in a book YEARS ago, what would be the point. Whether it be a comic, a novel, or a just a remake of an old classic........CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE, in an attempt to bring it into a current time frame, and to throw the fanboy off his mark when he says....."THATS NOT WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE" or "THAT NEVER HAPPENED IN TEH BOOK"

Lord of the rings is PRIME example of this, when it comes to classic literature. Same with Romeo n Juliette. You need to realize most of these movies are depictions of what the director sees.

Watch an evening with Kevin smith.....when he talks about working in SUPERMAN at the time, its an example of it going too far, but still, it was an artists depiction of a vision he had.

The bonus stuff AFTER the credits was REALY warrented as long as they dont mess up with the Avengers movie coming out and putting other actors in it to save money. KEEP WITH THE ORIGINAL CAST and come out with a MONSTER summer blockbuuster full of stars!! Do it for the fans, not the money.
