Azador's review on this movie say's it all.

Claire Dane is not one of my favourite actors, but she done brilliantly as Yvaine in this movie. It was also a crack up to see Robert De Niro change his ruggered mafia type character into more of a... how would you say it "poofter" type character and Michelle Pfeiffer such a breath of air for her to change from her usual prestine, girl next door type character into an evil witch, brilliant absolutely brilliant.
