"Indiana Jones and the Men from Mars?!"
Well, I try not to have high expectations going into a movie for the fear of being let down if in case the suck fairies hit it. For Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull though, I couldn't help being excited. I hadn't heard anything going into it, but now I'm afraid that I'll never be able to watch anything again due to the sudden urge to gouge out my eyes at the end of this one. I haven't given a movie an F since...well I cant remember. The one thing that was most disturbing was the complete lack of realism that the sets and costumes had. Everything looked like it was shot on a sound stage( which, in hindsight, it probably was) The story lost all of its believable qualities of the first three. That is indeed the magic of the other Indie films; in all the fantastical tombs and religious articles, it was still believable. I could actually seeing this happen in some far part of the world. Crystal Skull though, was as real as Van Helsing. I wont spoil the gruesome ending, but save this one for rental. FINAL GRADE: F
