"Crappy plot that can't be followed. Side-kicks you don't care about and too much flippin' CGI !!! indy has been ruined."
Having waited since the age of nine for another Indiana Jones movie to hit the big screen, I was easily as excited as the little boys in front of me in the queue, especially as Speilberg et al had promised a non-CG, roller coaster ride of fun and non-stop action, "With a great script we finally all agreed on".
Well, Steven. What film were you making? Not the one I saw, that's for sure. I left the cinema with tears in my eyes, and I'm not joking. It was so bad, so filled with rubbish nonsensical waffle and pointless plot-lines that I almost left early.
CG was rife, stunts so ridiculous as to be laughable, and the script... oh boy. What a stinker.
All (apart from Harrison and Shia LeBouf, who were both excellent in delivering their awful lines) should be thoroughly ashamed. My faith in cinema is dead.
R.I.P Indy.
