"Its a Silly kids movie. Don't expect to much or you will be highly disappointed."

I went to see this movie only because I was with my one year old god son and my sister and we couldnt really go into Inglorious Basterds with him or we would get some major shit from people. Anyways, this movie was enjoyable. It was silly, it was fun...over all it was a kids movie. I wasn't expecting to much but the fact that the name Robert Rodriguez was attached to it gave it a little more merit. The story revolves around a rock that came from the sky and you are able to wish on it and the wish will come true. Obviously calamity ensues because they wish for ridiculous things and people who are less than nice get their grimy hands on it. I felt the story could have been a little bit more developed especially because it was R.R. directing, producing and writing. It is a kids movie but that doesn't defeat the fact that it lacked in story. The acting wasn't the best mainly because it was children acting in most of the movie. But the a list actors and actresses in the movie gave an ok performance. There was alot of cg heavy scenes in the movie which I give credit to R.R. for because I know how difficult it is to direct those. But I still think he could have done a better job. There were some very cool visuals in this movie but nothing awesome or awwwing.

Enjoyable but wouldn't pay again for it.
