"Are you out of your Vulcan mind?!"
Where to begin? Well let me start off by saying that I am not a die hard Star Trek fan, but I do enjoy the show and some of the movies. This film did so many things right in so many ways. Once you see the trailer for this film you think "O this is a reboot of the entire thing" and technically it is, but once you see the movie you soon find out that it's more than that. Let me just say that Director JJ Abrams(Lost) is a true visionary in everything that he does, and this is his masterpiece. The thing I think I loved most about this film was that Abrams made for everyone to really enjoy, I mean you don't have to be a Trek fan to enjoy this movie it is great for all people including the Trek fans. The story to me was extremely well written and very unique. The visual effects were outstanding! They really did an excellent job all the way around. The acting was also great to see in this film, I mean once you see these characters from the original and see it now you really love seeing how these guys are still very similar. This is a fun film for everyone and it is (so far) the best film of 2009 without a doubt. Amazing job all the way around and I hope to see more Trek films in the future.
