"A suspenseful and thought provoking film, No Country for Old Men is every bit deserving of its Best Picture award. It is an excellent story executed well. A masterpiece."

No Country for Old Men was the winner of the Best Picture Oscar and rightly so.
Set in 1980, when a retired Vietnam war Vet comes across a drug deal gone wrong and $2 million, he sets off a chain of events that draws the aging Sheriff Bell into a manhunt that seems to have no end.
Okay, the only thing I need to say about the story is this: IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING. Incredible story with actors that embodied each character in an intensely believable way. The story deep and thought provoking exploring the dark side of human ambition and the senseless irrationality behind violence.
The film was excellently cast with Tommy Lee Jones playing the lead as well as Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem. They all performed amazingly well in believable characters in an emotional and mind blowing film.
The film's visual effects are to be envied by many other films of its type. With no music, the directors force the viewer to take stock of every single detail. The special effects were incredible and extremely detailed. Great movie.
All in all, it was amazing. It's a movie that makes you think and leaves you with an impression you will not soon forget.
