"It was Saw. Blood and guts, but didn't have a great storyline line like the rest."
First off I am a big Saw fan I will see them all, but this one was not what I expected. The movie was centered around one of the cops that it really shouldn't have. They left off Saw 3 with a cop cutting Jigsaw's neck and then finding out Jigsaw still has his daughter, which made the anticipation of Saw 4 willing to wait for. A very good ending to Saw 3 going into 4, but Saw 4 had nothing to do with that character. The blood and traps were great as always, but they left you in limbo about the guy who killed Jigsaw at the end of 3. You don't see him until the end of the movie and that is only for a brief minute, and you never find out about his daughter though the whole movie. Even though the movie was watchable in my opinion it took the Saw series in a direction that I was not too jazzed about. They should have stayed with what they were doing with 3. If they wanted to do what they did in Saw 4 they should have used a different main character (the guy from Saw 3)and went along the storyline of his daughter, then do what they did in the movie. I liked it, but it just didn't go with the Saw series is my opinion.
