"Now, what we got here is a little game of show and tell. You don't wanna show me nothing but you're telling me everything.

True Romance directed by Tony Scoot and written by Quentin Tarantino. His first screenplay. The story is about a man, Clarence Worley marrying a hooker, Alabama Whitman. Clarence goes to visit her pimp and tells Drexl to leave Alabama alone. This turns into a fight and Clarence kills Drexl. He then takes a suitcase which he believes is Alabama's stuff. Takes it back to her and opens it only to find a suitcase full of stolen cocaine. On the run from the Mafia and the cops they try to sell it into Hollywod to a famous Movie Director. Shit does go bad but I dont want to spoil to much for anyone.
The supporting cast is superb as well as the main actors. Christian Slater (who I am not a big fan of) does a good job. Patricia Arquette who I have not seen in many movie's also does well. But I think that the supporting cast is where you find the best performances. Brad Pitt only in it for 10 minutes does a very believable job. Christiopher Walken is great as Silcian Mafia boss, Vincenzo Coccotti. Dennis Hopper who plays Clarence's father is only in it for a few scenes. He is great. And my favorite performance is the pimp Drexl played by Gary Oldman.
He is very underrated and should get more praise for his performance's. Even if he is only in it for one scene. Samuel L. Jackson even gets a small role. The supporting cast goes on and on. True Romance is one of the best action films I have ever seen. It kind of has the Bonnie and Clyde feel to it. Very exciting and entertaining I believe this film is underrated. I could not keep my eyes of the screen when I saw it for the first time. It was on the other day and one part got me hooked again. True Romance is consistenly entertaining, and amusing. It is one hell of a dynamite movie. It is too hard to resist. The energy and style of the movie are exhilarating.
Those are the reasons why True Romance succeds to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Looking for a movie, well here's the one. I mean what more can you ask for. Movie's do not get that much better than this.
