Wow...what can be said that hasnt been already? This movie bombed worse than Hiroshima(figuratively speaking, i kno it made alot of money assholes) The acting was absolutely terrible in every aspect.
The way they decided to retcon the idea of the thug killing off Ben Parker to changing it to Flint Marco realy upset me. There were too many villains in this and not enough footage of the one we wanted to see: Venom.
Who cares about Sandman? The entire movie he looked like The Mummy villain from that Brendan Fraser film. Nothing cool there. Then the new Goblin was a wuss who bumps his head and becomes good half the movie so you dont even see him in the suit much either. But that wasnt so bad seeing as the new glider was a freaking snowboard. And his outfit, looked like a gangbanger robbing a convenience store. Then Venom...oh Venom...humph.
Topher is the only decent actor throughout the entire film and when he becomes Venom in the last what 20 minutes of the movie? Lame. And you barely see Venoms face, its always Tophers face with the mask pulled back. Then at teh end you see Harry killed off by the way of teh samurai from his new glider like his father. And then Venom is defeated by resonating metal beams in a construction yard before being blown up by a pumpkin bomb from Harry. And then The Sandman flies away after being forgiven by Peter...wow lame. Who knew sand could fly?
Terrible, this could have been great if they left out Sandman and had Harry become the Hobgoblin in an altered suit. Not a freaking bandana with sunglasses.
