"Alot of hype. Much anticipation. Only to walk out of the theater very disapointed and feeling lead-on by numerous trailers that portray this movie as something it's not."

Let me start by pointing out that I did not read the novel. With that said, I was disappointed. As were 3 out of the 5 people I saw it with. Within the first 30 minutes I found myself telling my sister that it must do something soon or I am leaving. I stuck it out. I am completely aware that this was not to be a super hero movie. Then why does EVERY trailer to be seen portray it as such? Very misleading. It was all over the place. Maybe having read the novel would have helped me appreciate the movie. I don't know. The fight scene in an alley was pretty good. And when they broke into the prison to break out their friend, was just "pretty good". The special effects were very good and Malin Ackerman is smokin hot. Besides that, not good at all.

Let me be perfectly honest and say that I feel like total CRAP giving this movie a bad review. Only because of all the hype/anticipation. This is a DVD that I will not be purchasing when it is released.

After reading some other reviews that were not very positive, I feel that I must add that perhaps I was unfair. I am probably going to contradict myself a little, Oh well. The movie was visually amazing and the acting was very good. I really wanted to love this movie. It's just not there for me.
