I took the whole family to see this on Monday; overall we all enjoyed ourselves, probably me the most.
Slight Spoiler ahead (slight)
I liked the Spiderman feel at the beginning, the kid not knowing what he was capable of until needing to be capable, kind-of-thing was way cool and well done. Also the actors portraying the younger stars in the film were very good, somewhat sad to see them grown up when the time arrives.
Some bits and pieces of the story line were held back too long, when we finally meet a certain character we pretty much already know the character exists, this was a disappointing spot, however overall this movie is well worth the admission, even though it seems unfinished, probably on purpose (sequel is almost visible on the horizon).
Action packed science fiction based entertainment, not exactly at its best, but a nice try none-the-less.
