"Exciting, upsetting and heart warming. A perfect chick flick"
SACT the movie is everything the series was and more. It gave a quick recap from the series, making use of the opening credits, which refreshed the mind of those viewers who were already fans of the show. While it gives new comers a small taste as to what has gone before; parhaps giving the insentive to go watch the 6 seasons which made this movie possible.
The film made me laugh and cry, with a great balance of humour (charlotte and samantha's stories provided the majority of entertainment and laughs), and tear jerking romance (both carrie and miranda had more serious story lines, dealing with heart ache and betrayal) which caused me to shed a tear or ten
Its a long film but never failed to keep my attention.
The only thing i felt could have been looked at further was the relationship between miranda and steve. This was a strong storyline which could have carried more screentime but like the series its focus lies with carrie
