"A worthy successor from the second,but thats not enough"

I love Ice Age,its a very funny movie when it was released,the second one...ehh,not much.Now 3 years later and Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs

is finally released in 3-D,but its charms are getting a little too old.

Heres tthe whole sypnosis:After the events of "Ice Age: The Meltdown", life begins to change for Manny and his friends: Scrat is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female sabre-toothed squirrel named Scratte. Manny and Ellie, having since become an item, are expecting a baby, which leaves Manny anxious to ensure that everything is perfect for when his baby arrives. Diego is fed up with being treated like a house-cat and ponders the notion that he is becoming too laid-back. Sid begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads to Sid ending up in a strange underground world where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a one-eyed weasel known as Buck who hunts dinosaurs intently.

The story is fine,though its not that interesting and memoble like Up,but its saved thanks to a well written script and funny dialouge.Now the

characters,they are all back as ussual and fan favorite Scrat as well,the new ones are kinda lame.Buck is kinda mediocre and talks just like an Austrailan{i have nothing against it}and for Scrattee...for some reason,she a bitch.Poor Scrat gets his ass kicked by her throught the movie.

Whats improved is the animation,its much detailed and more colored than the second and the character designs are also a step up.Now the 3-D looks cool,be prepared for a shitload of 3-D moments in the movie,im dead serious and i love it,every minute of it.the

acting is also an improvement,Dennis Leary,John Leguizamo,Queen Latifah and the whole cast done an excelent job with the films script.

Ice Age 3 is a fun movie to watch.If u can just ignore the flaws,u can have a really good time with it,but the Ice Age franchise is getting stale and its charms are falling badly,if they gonna make a fourth one,they should create some new ideas for the franchise that might get their charms back.

Good:improved animation and acting,3-D is killer,funnier than the second.

Bad:new characters Buck and Scrattee are stale,weak story,franchise is beggining to lose its charms.
