The original 1974 film of the same name is consider one of the very best, scariest British films ever. This Nisolas Cage remake is instead a un-scary and quite literally hilarious. With numerous scenes of Cage beating up - and getting beat up by - women, making this movie one of the most underrated unintentional comedies of our time.
This movie was seriously the worst i have ever seen. It should have never been made. It was stupid, weird, and just plain right wrong in every sense. the whole plot was bad and so was everything else. I could not keep track of what was happining. I telling you dont waste your or money on it. I don't recomend it to anyone! Stick to seeing the original.

The original is liked for various reasons, not just the film itself but the history of the film and it's near destruction. The piecing together of different parts, missing footage - there is a story within a story as far as the original film goes. The things that make the original a classic would never transfer to a new version.
