"This is the actual Transformers movie we've been waiting for, period."

Okay.. this is a total re-edit for this one, since i saw it a second time. This movie is a spot on match to the origianl Transformers from the 80s for five reasons:

1. Its based on the actual characters and storylines

2. It actually shows Prime beating Megatron's ass and not the other way around

3. It showed Prime's death and revival

4. It shows us Megatron's and Starscream's scramble with eachother LOL

5. It shows good, scratch that, great fights between Autobots and Decepticons

Now, for the fans this movie is def better then the first one, its action packed with new and same old characters, and there is def character development in humans and robots, with more dialogue amongst each. i esp liked how the military reacted with the autobots, after the two years working together, taking out decepticons, that was cool. and how the decepticons got owned in this one, again, that was even better. Great fights by the way, after enduring it all again, the forest fight where Prime kicks ass against three decepticons at once, and how BB wipes out Ravage and Rampage at the same time, and the best is when Prime revives bigger, better, and stronger and kills the Fallen and pushes Megatron to the brink of death, causing him to cowardly flee with his jabbing partner Starscream (that was awesome!), this was a good kick in the butt with fights. I think this flick was mainly made for the fights and the robot enhancements in the score of the fights and this is where Bay actually takes his shitty filming to the next level of close encounter entertainment and blows Decepticon scum in our faces. Go see this and dont come crying to your pals that it coulda been better and it sucked or it was too long and no dev.. whatever suck it up and enjoy the film on its hard work and its 180 million dollar f'n cost. where do you think that money came from, your ASS? atleast the film was actually made and released.

good points johnny. these films are just full of confuision most of the time we watch 'em. i think its just all the mind blowing action we get outta em that turns us away from the unsteady stories.. i just hope the third one will have a better story and a lot lot more action on both sides and we actually get too see more autobots fight rather than Prime and Bumblebee, all the others had barely any screen time. Lets see autobots vs. decepticons in one big battle, or just take on unicron..

you know what else i wondered now that you brought it up about them dieing? If they could of so easily brought back Megatron back 2 life why did they wait 2 long years!?!?!? an if that's the case why didint same jus use his piece of the all spark to do the same for Optimus instead of going thru all that BS in Egypt? jus wonderin

overall i thought Transformers 2 was much better than the first. and i also noticed too that like no autobots die.. except for prime (for a short time) and jazz from the first. thats it. all of the decepticons die, and easily too most of the time. which is good, i guess, cuz if the autobots died then the film is given up as, it would be very disappointing..

haha yeah good point on wolverine. yeah after i watched the first transformers in theaters.. i walked out like, "what the hell was that!? optimus got one trip on him. megatron threw him around like he was a fricken little doll or something. and that short gun brawl before... since when does megatron have a huge cannon that comes out of his arms.. didn't he have a m22 rifle lookin gun on his shoulder?? and optimus's gun he fired on him was hella weak. as seen.. Transformers 1 was a huge disappointment in the end. Bay ruined it there, i think. But yes the best part was the forest scene where prime actually tossed megatron around like a salad, so i was glad. and he had a much powerful gun as he blew megatron through the wall in the warehouse.. Lol

Agreed that was the coolest Robot fight scene ever filmed right alongside short circuit's Johhny 5 against the other robots hahahaha That's what gets me though. If Optimus was always this Badass wh'yd he get tossed like a salad in the 1st? it makes no connection which i didint like but he I cant realy complain about Optimus Kickin Ass. Now if only Hollywood could do the same for my OTHER childhood hero Wolverine.

haha well put guys, i esp. like, i have said before, how he takes down Megatron like 20 times and Megatron just calls out for help "decepticons!" and he throws Starscream around like a doll and hr rips Grindor's face apart.. awesome! haha and the ending with him as like "megaprime" was awesome, he just sends Megatron right through the wall with half of his face blown off as he stumbles and screams for "Stttarrmsrreammn!!" haha yes thanks for all the help guys. you should read my Signs review i just put up.

Oh stop Blaze, I'm blushing. haha

Yea... I didn't mention the fight between Optimus and three Decepticons in my review. That was the best part of the film. They finally portrayed him as the badass he really is. Why else would he be leader of the Autobots? That's why the other Autobots look up to him even though they're badass themselves.

Buff KNOWS what he's talkin bout Darlin. taught me everything i know! an it only took him 15 minutes! hahahahaha jk im sure youll develop jus fine jus dont take us as critizism but advise.
You realy make some good points as far as the movie conecting to the Cartoon with the awsome fight scenes an Optimus (my personal fav) as the true badass that he is. its just that everything else was poorly done. not very good story tellin, drab performances an pointless characters, you should point out the bad as well as the good. but hey that's my opinion. good job though hope 2 read more reviews in the future ;)

Ok... I realize your new to all this review stuff, but I see where johnjohnson is coming from. I think he actually gave you some good tips.

You definitely gave your opinion about the movie, but he is so right about the paragraphs. You need to double space when you change the subject. It makes it easier for the readers. If you make a review with one giant paragraph that's 100 lines long, readers may tend to stray away as opposed to one written with 10 paragraphs that's got 10 lines each. It's easier on the eyes.

I'm not going to be harsh and call this a terrible review like john did because you brought your point across, but if you want other to take your review more seriously, then listen to john's and my advice.

Oh yea... and if you write a review, don't get upset with those who don't agree with you. The thing about a review is that it's an opinion so not everyone will agree with you. If you plan on writing more reviews, you need to learn to take the good with the bad. And try to be civil about it. That size 14 up an ass sounds painful haha. Seriously... not cool to only like and keep the comments that agree with you. Hell, if someone disagrees, that actually brings up an argumentative topic and you'll actually get more people to comment.

Hope all this helps. I'm sure you'll get better at it.

hmmm i see your insights on this john, but again it is a review based section and it is all opinionated. but thanks for the tips, i meant that it falls more into the 80s version of things rather than made up, in this case as it is. and i watched the 86 movie and there were similar connections, but yes there are differences. it was a good movie though

It's a terrible review because this film is not a spot on match to the original 80s cartoon movie. First off, Optimus would not have been revived and a character not included in the film called Hot Rod would have become Rodimus Prime. Secondly, Megatron would have become Galvatron and instead of a crappy character called the Fallen, we would have had a massive machine called Unicron.

Another thing about your review is that it's written poorly. Break up your thoughts a little more. Granted there are sentences in grammar. However, when someone generally starts a new thought, they start a new thing called a paragraph. For example, I talked about how you were wrong in saying that this movie was a spot on match with the 80s original. Then, I started a new paragraph about how it was written poorly. Since I can't indent new paragraphs here, I double-spaced instead.

Thirdly, you can't express your opinion here and then tell people to suppress theirs if they don't like the movie ("Go see this and don't come crying to your pals that it could have been better and it sucked or it was too long and no dev.." Sentence just kind of died on you, didn't it?) Some people felt that the film's $180 million was put towards too many special-effects and not enough into the . You have to live with their opinions even if they don't agree with yours.

Finally, if you want people to take you seriously, don't shorten your words unless they are proper contractions. It makes you sound like an idiot. BB is Bumblebee and coulda is either could have or could've.

Anyway, that is all.
