"Stands the Test of Time"

I watched this one on DVD last night; it had been many years since the last time. Like the title of my review it holds up so well after I believe 21 years, the acting is great and very witty, especially from Cher and Nicholson. I was shocked to hear some vulgar dialogue, it was refreshing and realistic, but in these days that doesn't happen much anymore. One thing my roommate and I noticed is that Jack in this film was kind of like a Pre-Joker, makes you wonder if the producers of 1989's Batman saw this film and thought of him for the part. Another highlight is John Williams's wacky score, one of his bests. Check it out and laugh with this very dark comedy!
