"An underrated classic."

Stand By Me is not for everyone. It's a film that makes you think about life, about friendship. It is a beautiful piece of work and it should have earned a lot more recognition. It's a really well-written story and has some of the most memorable scenes in film history (e.g. the scene on the bridge).

This movie can be compared to other great King adaptations like The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. Even Stephen King himself called it his favourite adaptation of one of his works up to that point.

I advise you to see this film. It is a good film, and it is definitely in my top 10. Some might think it's boring as hell, others might think it is the greatest movie of all time. Like I said, this film is not for everyone.
