Way too high a body count for a GOOD Horror movie. It takes away from the amount of suspense leading up the killings, making it have barley any suspense at all actually. And suspense is what keeps these movies scary, not gore. Just check out the original, or my review of the original and you'll see what I mean. But this movie was still enjoyable, funny, and yes, fast paced. The basement set looked cool. A good old fashioned popcorn flick with a 21st Century horror movie spin on it. But the original still reigns supreme above all else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, Napolean Dynamite and Nacho Libre yes, Superbad? No. Clerks II? Hell no. And I agree Marcus.

this review has gotten far too many comments. 41? ridiculous

Oh, I'm not a fan of those kind of comedies, I hate the stupidity that lies around them. Napolean Dynamite was crap, Nacho Libre was crap, Superbad was crap, Blades of Glory was crap. You see what I'm getting at? I miss the old comedies like Arthur, Robinhood: Men in Tights, and The Ref, you know what I mean? That's why I'm so excited about this You Don't Mess with the Zohan movie, it actually looks like it'll be funny, same goes for The Love Guru. No offense is meant to you though if you liked any of the movies I said were crap.

haha I was quoting Clerks II when I said the deaf dumb and blind thing

May 13th, 2008 6:39pm
Well I know who Helen Keller is, and I wouldn't call her dumb. She was Blind, Mute, and Deaf in a time that no one was able to do much with it, and somehow she learned how to cope with it. So not dumb.

May 13th, 2008 6:34pm
Yea, she's deaf dumb and blind wtf would be the use

May 13th, 2008 6:20pm
I don't know. Is that the point?

May 13th, 2008 6:10pm
haha wtf would Helen Keller be doing at a tuppleware party?!

May 13th, 2008 6:08pm
I. . . Don't. . . Get. . . It. . .

May 13th, 2008 5:58pm
like Helen Keller in a tupple-ware party.

I like the remake more than the original or any other Halloween movie.

May 13th, 2008 4:36pm
That's almost what I did, but being such a fan of the Halloween series itself I gave this a chance, and I'm glad I did. It was great, just as I've said nonsensical when it comes to this movie. That's the one thing I disagree with on this review, too, is that the new one was better than the original. The new one is probably up there in the top three, but it is my stern belief that the original is the owner of the number one spot.

May 13th, 2008 4:30pm
Well that's kinda what I mean, I like the Halloween series and I'm like OCD about order and structure, so if I were to watch it I would throw a fit because it doesn't make sense haha.
