I believe that this film was one of the best classic horror films that was ever put on the big screen. It was such a brilliant idea that has made me a humongous fan of it and is one of the best! It was the most grossing "independent" film ever to hit the screen and i thought John Carpenter is an excellent director that makes a lot of great movies and glad he started with this one! Unlike Rob's version, there is so much mystery and darkness that surrounds Myers and that's what makes it such an interesting movie, even if it was made back in the day. I could watch this movie over and over and would never get tired of it.
