"Where does he get those wonderful toys?!"

ONE OF THE BEST BATMAN OF THEM ALL!!!!! THE OTHER BEING BATMAN BEGINS!!!!! Tim Burton has been handing out some of the best movies of our time (i.e. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Edward Scissor Hands, and The Nightmare Before Christmas), and that's exactly what he's done with this one! Michael Keaton is the perfect Batman, you wouldn't be able to tell that Bruce Wayne was Batman because whenever you met him he was light and airy, pretty much a class clown! But then when he was Batman, he was completely serious, just great! Jack Nicholson! Who better to play The Joker? Who I ask you! The Joker was perfect a real psychotic clown, with such lines as "Beauty and the Beast, although if anyone else calls you "Beast" I'll rip their lungs out" and "Where does he get such wonderful toys?" This is the best Batman movie of them all and it will set itself in our minds with the original Superman as one of the greatest Superhero movies of them all, at least it has in my mind!

(OK It's hard to explain my original opinions, but this is my thoughts NOW, and it's true, I am of course referring to the changes made in the first sentence. And don't get me wrong I had seen Begins when I reviewed this, I guess I have always been a sucker for the originals of anything, but I can't say that Begins wasn't that great, when in truth it was AWESOME.)

Well yes, that is true throughout the years they have gotten famous people to play these characters, and a couple of times it has worked (i.e. Elektra) But I was going on acting skill when I mentioned Keaton, he was perfect light and airy when Bruce, but when he became Batman he was totally serious, and that was what I was looking at. Now when you go the Comic Book way, I think that Christian Bale is probably the best relative to the same things I have mentioned for Keaton, AND he looks the part. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the original and the New one are the best of the entire lot, but I will never think that this movie sucked, I like it too much.

No Vampire, I never said anything about you stating the fact that you liked affleck as daredevil, I am stating that movie industry has a way of getting famous people to play comic book characters because of the big name. I never disagreed that Keaton didn't play out batman well, but I'm sorry, Keaton looks nothing like bruce, I mean come on, look at him, hes scruny as shit, does he really portray a guy that had years and years of training?....Not only should a an actor act like the givin character, he should look them too.

Ummm I have a question, have I ever once said anything to the fact that I liked Affleck as Daredevil? I reviewed Elektra (The Follow Up) I want it made clear that I didn't think Affleck was a great choice for Daredevil either. And Roam I respect your opinion, but mine will remain the way I've stated it above, I do think that Christian Bale is probably the best batman after Keaton, I really think they should have stopped if burton and Keaton weren't gonna do it again. Anyway what I'm trying to say is I'm finished arguing I respect Your opinions, and well thats about it.

ok this does not deserve 5 stars, you like it, that part i get, but the idea is to put personal opinion aside and give the movie what it deserve. critique the movie. not suck its dick. vamp and roam share views on opposite ends of the scale. i get that vamp likes the movie, bit it in fact is a shit review. big names should not play rolls that require massive character development.
ben affleck should not have been daredevil
nick cage should not have been ghost rider
and michael keaton should not be anything
he hasnt been in a movie i enjoyed since i was born.
burton is a good director to some extent, but his vision on batman was nothing short of disgraceful. it was his view, and his idea, but that does not make it good nor would i appreciate it. it was bias because you are a goth and because you like the movie. i like TMNT 3 but that movie deserves like 1 star. point made (btw fuck all who hate on the original turtle movies lol)

1st of all, how am I being a jackass, I was just replying to a review in the 1st place, in no way was I putting down anyone besides stating the fact that Vampire2000's views seemed a bias due to the fact of the director. I guess maybe I love the comics to much and it just saddens and upsets me to see the bat's storyline and characters slaughtered with statements like "Michael Keaton is the perfect Batman" and "This is the best Batman movie of them all". I'm sorry, this is a terrible review....

he's critiqueing a review, let him be.. he's not doing anything wrong, just expressing his opinion, mind your own business joka.

i have read the comics. And yes I took it personally, you said I had a biased opinion being goth. Liking burton more than anyone else. Well in that case if you like a director more than anyone else, and I'm positive you do so don't try saying you don't, than that would make you biased towards their films as well. I also stated that I loved Batman Begins, I just said, in MY OWN OPINION that I liked the original better.

I'll tell you why I felt the need to reply. I'm usually the one to sit back and roll my eyes, but for some reason this review in particular struck a chord. I try to rationalize when it comes to comic to film movies, keeping an open mind, but when you get these half comic educated people spitting out how something is so bad ass that they don't even understand or fathom the aspect the complexity that dells within a certain comic character and their background. . . It's like spitting in hand and slapping someone across the face. To me watching comic 2 film movies is a LOVE/HATE relationship, and I continue to strive to understand how some people can even like some of the crap that spills out from the silver screen. You stated that this movie was even better then batman begins how that can even be true? Batman's storyline with the Joker is totally jacked up, it happened nothing like it did in the comics, Jokers lines were one punned.....What? Because it was Jack Nicholson? I've said it before, Jack could of been thee best joker if done right and I'm not saying Leger will do any better, it would be nice to see DC/Marvel put a movie out that's true to its nature and its story. I have yet to see Iron man, but I hear its pretty close and I'm excited about it. I was no way having any intentions on bashing you directly but your review. However you seemed to take it personal instead of seeing the other side of it. I just don't see how you read the any batman comics and rated all the batman movies that you reviewed and gave them the "two thumbs up". I just don't buy it.

GET UR MOTOR RUNNIN...HEAD OUT ON THE HIGHWAY...sorry, that song just popped into my head. Whate were we talkin bout?

May 5th, 2008 1:04pm
No you aren't AndrewRyan, and also Roam if you think I'm so biased in my reviews why do you even bother to tell me off? Why not just roll your eyes and move on? And is it really so biased to like one director more than another and to write your review about them? If that's biased then I ought to look at some of your reviews.

May 5th, 2008 1:02pm
Roam uses quotations alot...Sorry, did i intrude

May 5th, 2008 12:58pm
So you think. Perhaps others interpret them differently.

May 5th, 2008 9:12am
Well in that case then delete your "review". Theres a reason that they allow people to reply. I am not even going to respond back on the "retard" comment. My "opinion" doesn't mean any more or less then anyone else, originally I was just stating that you have been giving crappy and biased reviews. Like I said before, Batman for its time was all right, and it was great to see the bats on the big screen, but by far none of these movies except batman begins has even came close to the comics.

May 4th, 2008 9:35pm
Look I will think what I think and you will think what you think, as far as I'm concerned I'm finished with retards who think that their opinions matter more than others, and on the subject of the Joker, I think that for now I have withdrawn my opinion on the whole Nicholson/Ledger thing they both will be great, but until I see The Dark Knight, I can't officially have an opinion. Again I'm done.

May 4th, 2008 1:11pm
Ooh, somethin's heatin up in here! lol

May 4th, 2008 1:06pm
Not really fair enough, don't write a "review/opinion" at a place where others can reply towards. If you really did read the comics, then you would have no idea, what these movies did to the "batman franchise" its a disgrace and shame. You would be by far the only batman fanboy that I have ever met in all my years collecting, pouring my heart and soul into these comics, for some shumck to come along and Make Arnold Mr.Freeze, or just slaughter Bane......BOMB! Monkey Buisness...any of this ring a bell, I actually want to gag even thinking about it. You Opinion, is very bias and it makes me quiver that someone is even giving these movies the time of day to write a review. Theres no denying "you think what you think" and "I think what I think" but if thats the case, I have read most of all your reviews by now....and you are bias on a lot things, write a review for whats it worth and not how you feel about a particular director or the actors, just because they are someone "famous" playing a character doesnt make the movie any good......Ben affleck as daredevil???? please....get my drift.
