ALIENS (1986)

This is my favorite too with Alien running second.

The special effects in this movie I would agree were awesome, but thats all it had going for it.

Although Ed Harris delivers a highly competent performance. Michael Biehn did a commendable job at portraying a psycho military officer without any of the usual Hollywood "over the edge" cliches. His performance was a masterwork of restraint, if anything. Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, on the other hand, was annoying from frame one, although this might be considered a success as her character was supposed to be a "cast-iron bitch." Her softening at the end was predictable and not very well executed.

And lets not for get it was BORING.

actually the Abyss I think is always misunderstood. It's slow yes, but to make the ocean the equivelant to space is really ballsy. The movie introduced liquid special effects which was the ground work for T2, & JC proved himself as an epic movie maker with filming in the water tank- which led to Titanic. I like this movie...but it maybe cause I like JC stuff too much:)

With the exception of The Abyss. ? Hmm maybe there's some more out there I don't like hmm, cant be that many.

Best Sci-Fi Horror movie ever!Really?Rongo you enjoyed The Abyss?! lol That is Cameron's worst movie ever in my opinion.

Oh my gosh, I didn't even notice that JC done True Lies Wow!

I agree, Mr Cameron is the man. His True Lies is in my top 5 alltime favourites, can't wait for Avatar!
