Sean Faris portrays the role as a young high school student who meets a mixed martial arts champion - Ryan. While befriending a girl he begins to like, and receiving an invitation to Ryan's party, he thinks he's all set. But, when he arrives at the party, he finds out that he is supposed to fight Ryan in a battle of mixed martial arts. Failing and being beaten up, he skips school and searches for a mixed martial arts gym. There he meets the enhanced trainer that makes him never back down. It was okay. Not awesome. But, it is something I would probally watch again. It is a good movie, and has a solid cast. So, there's nothing to lose. It reminds you alot of The Karate Kid and Rocky - so if you're a fan of those two films, you will surely like this. It is a mixture of romance, comedy, action, suspense, thriller, and drama. As I mentioned before, like The Karate Kid - It balances cinema and reality, to create a perfect suspensful martial arts motion picture.
