Ok, its obvious I am going to give this movie all five stars like everyone else. This is only becuase it seriously was the best movie of 2008! Nolan's sequel to Batman Begins gives us a deeper and darker side of Gotham that we didnt get to see in Batman Begins. This movie is dark, twisted, suspensfull, scary and at some points down right distrubing. I think that everyone would agree with me when I say that most of that can be attributed to Heath Ledgers amazing portrayal of The Joker. Heath's Joker is something that would give people nightmares. Unlike Jack's Joker which was more, comedic and campy, this Joker was deranged and a complete physcopath. The Story was amazing, lots of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. the acting (goes without saying) was finominal! Not just Heath's, But Bails, Oldman's, Freeman's, and Eckhart's acting were great. I was a little at odds with Maggie thought becuase I feel that she didnt bring that character to the fore front, she just seemed bland. Christopher Noland is a master at making films! His directing also made this movie what it is. The visuals in the movie are both tantilizing and wicked awesome. Explosions, great stunts, the batpod, 18 wheelers flipping and many more things. Overall this movie definatley delivers! My only question to others and myself is whether Batman Begins is better than The Dark Knight. I feel that Batman Begins delivers on a normal movie level. For me it didnt feel like a Batman movie at all, it was just telling a story of this man that wants to save his city from corruption. On a superhero movie level, Batman Begins falls a little short, but not by much. On the other hand, The Dark Knight is an amazing superhero movie which delivers on all levels. It is also a great movie in general, but you would have had to seen Batman Begins to fully understand the characters in this movie and their relationships with eachother.

Now that the whole viral marketing is over, a year of following this movie and it all has became very surreal when I sat in the thearter to watch it. Whats next? Only time will tell.
