In Bruges mixes a very dangerous mix of extreme violence, racism and comedy and manages to pull it off very well!

What a brilliant surprise!
I originally thought, after seeing the trailers, that this film was going to be rubbish, but In Bruges just goes to show that you shouldn't judge a film by the trailers all the time!
I thought the film was brilliant!
In Bruges is a very dark comedy about 2 Irish hitmen (Farrell and Gleeson) who are told to hide out in Bruges, Belgium by their boss (Fiennes) and wait for further instructions, due to a recent job going wrong.
In Bruges isn't for everyone, as not all people will find it funny, but I thought it was very funny.
It mixes a very dangerous mix of extreme violence, racism and comedy and manages to pull it off very well!
I think the strongest part of In Bruges, and what I thought was brilliant, was the script. It's been written so well, especially Ralph Fiennes lines, that there are no cheesy lines or one liners in sight. Fiennes delivers his lines so well too.
The strongest actor is probably Colin Farrell. He did a very good job with his character.
Overall, In Bruges is a brilliant film for people who understand this style of comedy and who aren't too bothered about a few controversial moments...
