"Robert Downey Jr. STOLE THE SHOW "
This movie was great, it was a blast. Robert Downey Jr. stole the show! He was at the top of his game. This movie was boycotted by some cause they use the word retard and their humor was offensive, but it was a funny ass movie. They missed out! The whole film altogether is great. I love the characters in this film. Every word that came out of Roberts mouth was just great.
"PIKA BOO I SEE YOU" ,Kirk Lazarus
I love the beginning of the movie when it really feels like a real war film. The insane amount of blood spraying out of that guys head was just great. I just love seeing Robert standing by the helicopter and saying "survive" Then saying Cover me Fuckers I love the fake previews it set the mood for the rest of the movie.
Directed by Ben Stiller He has been working on this film for over 10 years and it was worth it. I think this is my favorite Ben Stiller film right up there with Zoolander and The Cable Guy he also made Blades of Glory ,Duplex.
Cast- Robert Downey Jr. ,Jack Black ,Jay Baruchel ,Brandon T. Jackson ,Ben Stiller ,Steve Coogan ,Danny R. McBride ,Bill Hader ,Nick Nolte ,Tyra Banks ,Reggie Lee ,John Voight ,Jason Bateman ,Todey Maguire ,Kevin Pollack ,Matthew McConaughey ,Brandon Soo Hoo ,Amy Stiller ,and Tom Cruise
They all made this film work on so many different levels.
Robert Downey Jr - 10/10 He stole the show. As I said before just a great actor playing a role. Very convincing as a Black guy I wish he was really black. favorite line "Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box." and "You say 'Listen here, Lance'... Lance? What the fuck did I just hear? Lance?" and so many more..
Jack Black - 8/10 He played a Drug addict comedian very well. Watching the film repeated times I saw all the cooky things he did.Favorite line "Let's move! We only have 16 hours before they wake up!"
Ben Stiller - 10/10 He was great playing the role as if he was in a movie. I just love seeing him act when he thought he was being filmed. Favorite line "You make my pee-pee maker t-t-tingle."
Nick Nolte - 10/10 He was just so great in this movie playing that "supposed" Vietnam Vet. Everything he said was great. I love his character in this movie. Favorite line "I don't know what its called, I only know the sound it makes when it takes a mans life"
Matthew McConaughey - 9/10 He did a great job in this movie playing an agent. I'm not a big fan of his cause hes a really bad actor but I like his movies. Favorite line "I got the TiVo!"
Brandon T. Jackson - 7/10 he did a good job in this movie being the only black guy in it. He had his momments. Favorite line "Damn. And I thought the movie was bad"
Jay Baruchel - 8/10 I love his whole monologue that was totally improvising. He did a good job in this movie.Favorite line "Tugg. Tugger. You're the last piece of the puzzle buddy. We need you! Your men need you. Are you with us?"
Tom Cruise -10/10 I completely forgot that he was in the movie when I saw it I finally found out it was him at the middle of the movie and it blew my mind that was him. Favorite line "Great. Let me get this down. 100 million... Oh, wait! I got a better idea. Instead of a hundred million, how about I send you a hobo's dick cheese? Then, you kill him. Do your thing, skin the fucking bastard. Go to town, man. Go to town! In the mean time and as usual, go fuck yourself."
Picture - Wow its Blu-ray it was fantasic It was amazing to see, especially the begging of the movie.
Sound - It was amazing Blu-ray is far more superior to DVD. I loved it
Extras - Tons of extras I love watching the commentary with the cast cause of Robert's voice and its just what he said in the movie "I don't Drop character until I do the DVD commentary" The extras are great.
The replay value - YES this is a repeatable view movie I have watched it countless time I love it.
