"A PERFECT FILM"

Toy Story, The Incredibles and Finding Nemo. These are films made by PIXAR, that are seen as Gods to other animated films. When the advertisement for Ratatouille was released, I felt intrigued to go see it. It seemed to have comedy, and captured the excitement of the previous PIXAR films. However, when the second advert was released, I was deeply disapointed. The comedy had been swapped for story, thus the film appeared to be story driven. Nontheless I went to see it in cinemas, hearing that it was a good film. The shock I got was amazing. Not only was it a good film in its own right, it was a perfect film, easily surpassing the enjoyment of Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter and the Simpsons Movie combined. The animation was splendid and it actually made me want to take up cooking. The characters were somewhat relatable, although it seemed odd that the two main cast did not speack in French Accents. The film brought back the excitement of PIXAR films, and was easily, the best film of 2007. If you like to be entertained, you can not beat Ratatouille as an animated film. That is a huge statement.
