"Not the greatest to come of Skywalker Ranch"

While I did like the idea of another film to flesh out the Star Wars saga, I felt a little let down by this movie.

Not to dissuade anyone from seeing the film, but though it's not written for kids, they are the ones getting the most out of it. And they dont even understand the dialouge.

Anticipating the upcoming Cartoon Network series in September, I was excited to learn they were creating a film to help boster interest. That is, until I plunked down $9.00 for a ticket, $4.95 for a coke and sat through 90 plus minutes with beloved characters in a sub par-story.

The concept of the film was good, but the story was a bit weak, and the animation was not the best effort from the company who invented computer animation to begin with.

I am usually first in line in my town when they release these films on DVD, but I'll hold out on this one and hope the TV series is put together a little nicer.
