When I first saw Iron Man my expectations for it weren't that high.Despite the star power the movie had, I still wasn't convinced it would live up to it's expectations.Was I ever wrong.The movie starts off with a bang with Tony Stark's convoy being attacked and then him being hit with a small missile, which led to his capture.From there on I thought Jon Favreau told the original story of Iron Man very well with a few modifications to suit the time.I thought Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Tony Stark was dead on and couldn't be any better, though Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, and Terrence Howards performances were mediocre at best.I also like how they referenced War Machine noting that there will most likely be sequels, which there is.All in all I enjoyed the film and everything about it, and I can't wait for more upcoming Marvel films.
