Worth buying... that's a big compliment for me to give! Although this was nothing like the book, it still was a great movie. Action-packed, great storyline, and a personal touch to it which really adds a lot. It makes you think how terrible it would be to be in that situation. I felt a pang of grief when his dog died. The dog represents so much- it is his only reason to stay alive. If I was in that situation, and my dog (who is the only one that keeps me from not getting out of bed in the morning) died, I would be emotionally destroyed. Overall, this movie is just plain awesome. I DEFINITELY recommend this, for people who have not seen it, and for people who have, GO TO YOUR NEAREST STORE AND BUY THIS MOVIE. Just plain awesome.
