"I guess I'm the only one left"
I know, I know, you're saying what in the world does this guy live in a bubble or it's about time you've seen this movie. Well, bottom line was I didn't see this movie because all due respect to Rob Zombie I didn't care for "The Devil's Rejects" one bit or " House of a 1000 Corpses" either. After all, trying to copy or remotely figure out one of the greatest horror movies of all time or even due it justice could not be accomoplished especially by Rob Zombie.
Surprise! Cudos to him for taking the Michael Myers legacy, turning the clocks back toward his childhood and introducing to the audience the start of this lifeless souls murdering spree.
I didn't recognize too many of the younger actresses. I figured this was one of their earliest movies they made, especially when we got to when Michael escaped and made his way back to Haddonfield. I was worried the three main girls involved with the story, especially the one that played Laurie could not possibly sell the terror that was ahead of them to an audience.
Of course, leave it to Rob to incorporate the overgratuitous amounts of boobs into his movies except for his wives who played Michael's mother in the picture.Leave out the rape scenes though.
Unlike the first one, in the end Michael gets killed by his baby sister, Laurie or Boo as he called her when he was a child setting up the inevidable Round 2 of sequals. Only this time Laurie will be carrying the torch.
