The movie's overall appeal and jokes are well thought of. It is essentially comedy whenever Jack Black is on screen, and drama when Danny Glover is on screen. The combination makes a for a great story, but it takes about an hour to get to the point that everyone wants to see... them remaking the films. And the fun is almost completely ruined when the Government gets involved.
Overall, it was funny and somewhat emotional, and I'd see it again with a friend who hasn't seen it. But I wasn't thrilled with it... and the ending had NO resolutions. It just ends... just like this review.
