CLOVERFIELD (2008)

"IT REALLY IS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!"

After some comments from my previous review of Cloverfield, I decided to give the movie a second chance. So I went back and watched it again and I guess the second time is a charme because now I really like it. After thinking about all the idoitic crap that I previously stated about Cloverfield, I must detract my previous statements. The movie was great. I must agree that it being from the persective of the people running for their lives while everything around them is getting destroyed is quite ingenius. Also, the fact that they don't say much about the monster(where it's from and why it's ticked off) is not as bad as I thought. As far as the shacky camera goes, I suppose it would be hard for someone to hold it still for a couple of seconds. So, for those of you who have not seen the movie, it is worth the money to go see. It really is a geat film.

P.S. For those of you who are read my first review and are now reading this one, I apologioze for into a senseless rant without thinking first. Please forgive for going into a lapse of retardedness. Thankyou for bringing me to my senses

Dude, I don't think ANYONE would hold a camera still while a FRIGGIN' MONSTER IS ATTACKING! And u totally don't get the point of the movie. It wasn't about the background of the monster, it was about the real life experience of facing a monster attack; it was from the people's point of view, so ur probably not gonna get a whole lot about the monster, but u DID get alot of good shots of the monster. I also read another user's comment that if you reverse the audio or somethin at the end of the credits it says "It's still alive," so that answers ur question.

once again, another person who went to see a monster movie, with all details included, which clearly this movie is not.

quit expecting things that obviously aren't gonna come.

I, personally, have to disagree with what you are saying. No offense, but this movie just wasn't made for people who expect to know everything by the end of the movie. This is a suspense-ridden movie that ends with you asking as many questions as after you saw the first trailor. I personally like it, but I can see where you're coming from. I guess you just don't like documentary type suspense movies that leave you guessing... I do! :)
