" "If your good at somethig, never do it for free" - The Joker (Heath Ledger)"
The Dark Knight was a very good movie. I really don't understand all the hype. I think it was a combonation of many things that I'm sure you can figure out.
To tell ya the truth I liked Iron Man better, and I don't see what sets this aside from the other bazzillion comic-book movies. Though I did like this better than Batman Begins (note: I still love Batman Begins). Also I am not much of a Batman fan.
The best part of this movie is of course Heath Ledger as The Joker. He gives an INCREDIBE preformance. And I'm not just sating that because everyone elese does. It is very hard to explain, but once you see it, you'll know what I mean.
Christian Bale playes the perfect Batman, in my opinion, just those guys in the older, cheesey one just cant do it.
Speaking of the older, cheesey ones, I am soooo glad they changed from what it used to be to now. They are more than better, and those old ones are let's face it- stupid. Even at the time. Sure maybe Spider Man and Fantastic 4 are suppose to be cheesey, but Batman- no way. Not with his dark past.
Overall, the best Batman yet. Can't wait for the sequel, at least I hope there's a sequel. They just better not have The Joker be in it, because no one coulde do it like Heath Ledger.
4 minor complaints-
Christian Bale talks funny when he's dressed up as Batman
and I got a headach because the movie is 2hours and 30 minutes, plus it's non-stop loud action
They didn't have a little something before the credits honoring Heath Ledger
Was exactly what I expected
I can predict that about 200 people will review this movie, because just look at how many reviews I Am Legend and Iron Man has, and because this is EVEN MORE all hyped up, this should get more. In fact, this review may never even get read, because by the time everyone is done reviewing this, my review will be so far back in the counless pages, no one will look that far.

The film however seemed to be SO fast paced, that when it came upon the Joker's climax, (which I knew it was from what I'd read here) I figured Two-Face HAD to continue on with his story for another 45 minutes as fans said.
And critics stated that the film shoulda ended BEFORE the last half hour of the film played out, but that Nolan apparently wanted to tell a different story, but since I had no good sense of runtime for this film cuz it was going so fast, then I don't know on what note in the film that the critics thought the film shoulda ended on. The only thing I can think of is the Two-Face climax, but that occurs an ends ten minutes after Joker's climax. So yes, the point in all this jibberish is, that the film was so fast paced that I couldn't believe that it ended when it did. The slowest moving parts had to be Bruce's elaborate trip to Hong Kong, and even those scenes were fast paced.
:(
and I think my longest review is The Strangers.
and what do ya expect. a review as good as Vampire2000. I'm only 14. They will get better as I get older, and learn newer, and better ways to write.
But i honestly believed if heath was still alive they would have cast the joker role again. and thats why i think they left him hanging like that to keep there options open for the next batman, Very SAD tough
and sorry vamp, that's my opinion, but even if theyre not syupid, they are cheesey.
