"Why this is the BEST film of all time"
This film has to be the best film ever made and is one of the most overlooked films made in the industry. As my favorite film, this film ranges from great acting to directing, but most importantly it has an amazing story.
As a Steven King novel, the writers took it and turned it into a film that moves you. The film does an excellent job following the life of a man put through the prison system after being wrongly accused of his crime even though the audience is not informed of this until later into the film.
The film is simply about hope. This main theme is seen in every aspect of the film. The main characters' daily struggle to not collapse and give into the corrupted system of the life he now lives. After every trial, he never looses sight of his ability to live and look out into what he can accomplish.
Simply put, you must go see this movie. It is a beautiful combination of acting, directing, and writing.
